First of all, some people may saw my first static website, and maybe they are wandering on how I made this huge change on my website design and look.
I don’t like wordpress and it’s plugins complications, and I feel better with just html, css, and js (I’m a simple man 😅).
- Using Hugo (static websites generator): used this with a theme.
- PaperMod (theme): this is the Hugo theme I used for my website, but also modified few things to suit my style.
Here are some youtube videos that helped me 🤓:
- Hugo Static Site Generation Tutorial: this is general and will support you from scratch.
- Getting started with Hugo: this one helped me with getting theme and adapt with it (there are alot of themes to choose from, for blogging, as your profile, or any other kind of static websites).
